About the Role As a Lifestyle Coordinator at RSL LifeCare, every day you're empowered to make a meaningful difference to people's lives. You will have the opportunity to: Create programs that are developed to enrich the lives of individuals and their families through leisure, lifestyle, learning & spiritual activities Ensure residents receive appropriate assessments including their life history that will form part of their integrated care plan Build and deliver an integrated approach for community engagement Embody a person‑centred approach, recognising and promoting the individual's unique goals and preferences Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver positive outcomes for residents Benefits Not‑for‑profit tax benefits – salary packaging up to $15,900 per year, reducing taxable income through tax‑free benefits such as super contributions, car leasing, etc. Staff discounts at 700 retail stores via Maxxia Rewards Leave loading – 17.5% pay top‑up on paid leave Career opportunities across Residential Care homes and Community Services Qualifications & Requirements Demonstrated compassion, tolerance, patience and empathy for aged people Understanding of the ageing process and an interest in dementia care Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and evaluating lifestyle/recreational activities in an aged care environment Ability to work efficiently by optimising the use of technology within your role Effective communication with consumers, relatives and care team members Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle with minimum 12 months experience Working rights in Australia Legal Requirements Mandatory requirement: valid Police Check or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or both, must be verified prior to commencing employment.
