Social Media Coordinator

We're looking for a Content Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to plan, manage and execute social media strategies for a fast growing Marine Supply Company based in Sydney, Australia. This is a hands‑on, creative role for someone who lives and breathes TikTok , Instagram , LinkedIn , and Facebook , and knows how to turn video and digital content into brand awareness, engagement and sales momentum. Ideally you would also be on the lookout for other platforms such as Google Ads , MailChimp , Reddit , Pinterest or other trending channels. What you’ll do: Plan, create and edit standout video and digital content across all major social platforms with carefully curated copy. Build excitement and awareness for our product range for our online and physical store. Manage social channels end‑to‑end, from content planning to posting and engagement. Capture content in‑store, at boat shows and promotional events, or instruct staff on video content to capture. Support brand events and activations that drive enquiries and sales. Assist and maintain our product and customer data. Assist with improving/writing new blog posts for our website. Improve and create new automated emailing strategies using Shopify (Trigger → Condition → Action) especially for abandoned checkouts. Manage and maintain our Instagram/Facebook digital store. Ideally you have: Proven experience in content marketing & social media. Graduated from a relevant creative degree or course related to marketing or video editing. Excellent English speaking and copy‑writing abilities. Experience with tools such as Shopify, Canva, Figma, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve. Experience in marine supply, trade or the construction industry. Ability to work autonomously and with initiative with minimum oversight. Suggest ways to improve systems and workflows. Stay creative, confident and highly organised. Your success looks like: Growing followers and engagement on our social platforms. Higher conversions in‑store and traffic to our online store. Improved purchase conversions with better Units per Transaction (UPT) and higher Average Transaction Value (ATV/AOV) over time attributed to your campaigns.
