Middleton Group is expanding our impact in the renewable energy and power‑systems sector and were looking for an experienced engineering professional to guide our Grid Connection team to the next level. As Team Leader Grid Connection, you'll set the tone for a high‑performing, people‑focused culture while ensuring outstanding technical delivery. Your leadership will balance team resourcing, drive capability growth, and secure new opportunities, all while aligning with our values of care, respect, and accountability. What You’ll Do Inspire & Manage: Build an engaged, cohesive team of power‑systems engineers; coach and develop talent while promoting wellbeing and retention. Deliver Projects: Oversee major grid‑connection and power‑system studies, ensuring technical excellence, on‑time delivery, and compliance with AEMO National Electricity Rules. Grow the Business: Lead business planning, manage budgets, and support proposal writing and client engagement to win work and expand our market presence. Shape the Future: Advance sustainable, low‑carbon design practices and set engineering standards that keep Middleton at the forefront of the industry. About You Qualified Engineer: Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent. Power Systems Expertise: Strong knowledge of grid connection and AEMO NER requirements; experience leading complex technical projects. People‑Focused Leader: Skilled in mentoring, performance management, and fostering collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
