Overview Join to apply for the Manager, Tax – Indirect Tax Asia role at Cytiva. As Manager, Tax – Indirect Tax Asia you will be responsible, in collaboration with the Cytiva Indirect Tax Team, for ensuring that Cytiva legal entities comply with all regional Indirect Tax obligations. You will be part of a team that supports our commercial teams to deliver for our customers, support our sourcing team to ensure that goods are in the right place at the right time, and provide compliance and advisory work for the region. You will work with project teams to support changes driven by business changes and tax legislative changes. This position reports to the Global Indirect Tax Leader and is part of the Global Indirect Tax Team. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. What You Will Do You will support our Indirect Tax compliance processes in Asia to ensure that Cytiva entities pay the right tax, at the right time. Working with the local teams you will be responsible for ensuring that our Indirect Tax returns are filed on time and ensuring that all payments are made by the due date. You will support on audits from relevant taxing authorities, ensuring that information is collated efficiently and responses are timely and clear. You will support on specific projects and tax authority changes identified. You will be responsible for the collation of quarterly management reporting around Indirect Tax key metrics globally. Who You Are You will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years’ experience working in an Indirect Tax environment, either in Industry or in a professional services environment. You will have a proven track record of being able to work independently whilst keeping team members updated on progress. You will have experience liaising directly with Taxing Authorities, providing information and challenging their assumptions when needed. You will be able to explain complex Indirect Tax issues in a clear and concise manner, in business context without jargon. You will have experience in supporting junior team members, providing valuable feedback and helping them grow.
