We’re seeking an experienced Staff Front End Engineer to join our Continuous Feedback team. You will influence how employees give and receive real-time feedback through AI-supported experiences, shaping product direction and technical quality. As a Staff Engineer, you’ll influence the front end practice across the Camp, with opportunities for impact beyond your immediate team. Continuous Feedback is a core component of our Perform product, designed to deliver fair and actionable feedback to help develop individuals and teams. Our mission for this team is to make feedback accessible, seamless, and valuable for all users—helping organizations build cultures where everyone can thrive. You Will Lead the technical vision, architecture, and implementation of large-scale AI-supported front end solutions in React and Typescript, directly supporting critical product experiences in Continuous Feedback. This includes designing intuitive UIs for intelligent feedback analysis, surfacing relevant insights, and guiding user interactions. Champion engineering best practices—including accessibility, quality, performance, and maintainability—drawing on Culture Amp’s unified Next.js-based front end stack and the Kaizen Design System Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to turn customer problems into product outcomes. Define, slice, and deliver features that impact managers and employees using feedback daily Mentor, coach, and upskill fellow engineers; contribute to cross-camp initiatives, design reviews, RFCs, and the growth of our front end practice Lead efforts in ambiguous and urgent contexts: tackle complex, legacy technical challenges and adapt to changing product needs, providing clarity for others Influence and uphold the Continuous Feedback team’s engineering standards—owning system quality and evolving how feedback is delivered, requested, and managed in our platform You Have Significant, hands-on experience building and maintaining large-scale SaaS front ends using React, Typescript, and modern web technologies. Familiarity with Next.js, Storybook, and design systems (like Kaizen or comparable) is a strong plus Deep knowledge of web application architecture, performance optimisation, accessibility, and user-centric design.
