Sports Coordinator and Duke of Edinburgh's Award Coordinator – Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney's North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking a passionate and organised individual to join our Sport Department as Sports Coordinator & Duke of Edinburgh's Award Coordinator. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the administration and delivery of both junior school sport programs and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. The role includes working on Saturdays to support weekend sports and related activities, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging experience for all students. Key Responsibilities Assist the Director of Sport with planning and delivering a broad range of sport programs across the school Organise, promote, and manage Junior School Sport programs, including casual sport coach management, administration, and competition logistics Coordinate House Sport carnivals and other sporting events Provide administrative support for all school sports-related activities Ensure the smooth operation of all sport initiatives, including weekend sports events and competitions Oversee the Duke of Edinburgh's Award program, including the coordination of adventurous journeys through external providers, and related activities Liaise with students, parents, staff and external providers to ensure the successful implementation of the Award Conduct risk assessments and manage health and safety requirements for all Award-related activities Key Skills and Experience Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills Experience in managing or coordinating sports programs and / or cocurricular activities Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, staff, and external providers Familiarity with safety protocols, risk assessments, and compliance standards Passion for fostering student growth and well‑being through sport and adventure Flexibility to work on Saturdays as part of the full‑time role How to Apply To Apply: Please include a cover letter as the first page of your resume.
