The Role You will coordinate and monitor the use of quality systems in the Beverage manufacturing operations to ensure our customers’ expectations are met and provide technical assistance and advice to manufacturing operation. Role Responsibilities: Ensure the products manufactured meet the agreed specifications and coordinate sensory panels to ensure product quality standards are maintained. Coordinate appropriate testing throughout the manufacturing operation and interpret results. Investigate product failures and determine destiny of the products. Provide feedback on operation performance with respect to quality parameters and supply advice for improvements in operational activities. Assist in the investigation of factory related complaints and develop systems and procedures to assist in reducing the customer complaints and quality issues. Assist Product Development team in the implementation of accurate specifications and ensure the agreed specifications are accurate, workable and that product quality meets consumer expectations. Ensure quality parameters and testing requirements are included in specifications. Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology. Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the food industry in a Quality Assurance role with HACCP and internal auditor training. Experience and trained in HACCP implementation. Experienced and trained as an internal auditor in food safety systems. What we offer: 5 weeks annual leave. Employee reward program.
