About the Role Permanent, part‑time (4 days a week) Parenting Orders Program (POP) Case Coordinator in Townsville. Responsibilities Conduct intake assessments, obtain client information, screen for risks, develop safety plans, and determine suitability for interventions. Design and deliver group and individual education programmes on child development, family violence, and navigating complex family separations. Develop and implement client case management plans in a child‑focused, collaborative manner. Liaise with internal and external services for integrated support, including referrals for counselling and family dispute resolution. Maintain accurate client records, case notes, and risk assessments as per organisational policy. Continuously participate in supervision, professional development, and uphold compliance with all legislative, duty of care, and administrative requirements. Qualifications Relevant undergraduate qualification in Social or Behavioural Sciences (postgraduate highly regarded). Demonstrated experience supporting families in high conflict settings, including with involuntary clients or clients in crisis. Strong record of working within a child‑focused and culturally inclusive practice framework. Experience in group facilitation, education delivery, and (ideally) family dispute resolution. Solid knowledge of family law, domestic violence legislation, and the impact of trauma and conflict on children. Excellent communication, time management, and computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office, web‑based systems). Benefits Work‑Life Balance – flexible supportive culture.
