Trainer – Contact Centre

Firstsource Solutions Limited – Melbourne VIC Firstsource is growing in Melbourne, and we’re looking for an experienced Contact Centre Trainer to join our Learning & Development team. In this role, you’ll design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that support high performance across our campaigns. You’ll also coach and develop trainers, ensure new-hire programs are effective, and work closely with leaders across the business to support capability uplift. This is a permanent full-time role reporting to the Training Manager. What You’ll Be Doing Deliver and manage new-hire training, ensuring consistent pass rates and strong performance outcomes. Assess training needs and collaborate with leaders to plan and deliver effective learning solutions. Coach, support and develop trainers in line with company standards and policies. Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients. Ensure training programs align with business KPIs and campaign requirements. Create and maintain training plans and learning materials. What You’ll Bring Minimum 1 year of training experience in a Contact Centre environment. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage others. Understanding of adult learning styles and the ability to adapt facilitation accordingly. Confidence in designing training material using PowerPoint, Word and similar tools. Experience using coaching models and delivering effective coaching sessions. Professional approach with the ability to partner with clients and stakeholders. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and ability to simplify complex concepts.
