The Company Cleaner at the Northern Australian Conference plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the conference facility. The Company Cleaner should be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently to maintain a clean environment that meets the high standards expected in a professional conference setting. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are well-maintained. Dispose of waste and ensure that trash bins are emptied and sanitized regularly. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. Ensure that common areas, meeting rooms, and other designated spaces are kept tidy and presentable at all times. Assist with setting up and breaking down chairs, tables, and other equipment for events or meetings when necessary. Adhere to health and safety standards while using cleaning chemicals and operating cleaning equipment. Desired Skills and Experience Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and handling. Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Good communication skills to interact with other staff members and report any issues. Physical stamina and strength for performing cleaning tasks. Prior experience in commercial or institutional cleaning settings. Familiarity with operating cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and pressure washers. Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning activities. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a cleaning role. Experience working in a team environment while also being self-motivated in completing individual responsibilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
