Client Engagement Manager

Role Title Client Engagement Manager Role Description We are currently seeking two Client Engagement Managers to join our tightly knit team of professionals on a permanent basis. You may come from a Client Engagement, Business Development, or Account Management background and be ready to take the next step in your career. Role Responsibilities Identify and pursue business opportunities in existing and new areas within DFAT or the Department of Home Affairs. Manage and build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. Conduct site visits and meetings with clients and staff. Prepare responses to tender and quotation requests. Identify and assist with the recruitment of qualified staff and subconsultants in conjunction with Recruitment partners and supply‑chain companies. Maintain contracts and trusted client relationships to secure repeat business and growth. Prepare correspondence and reports. Qualifications Demonstrated Client Engagement/Account Management experience. Strong experience and established networks in National Security environments. Prior DFAT or Home Affairs experience is highly regarded. Strategic and financial acumen. Highly developed communication‑, negotiation‑, and presentation‑skills. Strong client relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills. A record of working collaboratively as part of a team. Hold and maintain an NV1 security clearance (preferred) or a baseline clearance with ability to upgrade. Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset (highly desirable). Proven operational sales experience (highly desirable). Experience using Customer Relationship Management platforms. Required Security Clearance Level: NV1 preferred, or baseline with ability to upgrade to NV1. Location: Canberra, ACT Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
