Position type : Permanent Full Time Hours per week : 38 Remuneration : $76,364 – $108,943 per annum plus superannuation Location : Randwick, Sydney Requisition ID : REQ Applications close : 14 December 2025 Classification : Occupational Therapist Level 1 / Level 2 About the Role As the Rehabilitation Clinician – Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering personalised, evidence‑based care for young people at risk of or experiencing early psychosis. Your focus will be on empowering individuals through: Tailored clinical rehabilitation support Vocational, education, training, and employment interventions Holistic, person‑centred recovery planning in collaboration with young people and their families What We’re Looking For A qualified Occupational Therapist eligible for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board, AHPRA Mental health experience, especially in youth‑focused or early intervention settings A strong interest in vocational and psychosocial rehabilitation Applicants completing their final semester of a recognised Occupational Therapy degree (or within 12 months of graduation) are also welcome to apply Selection Criteria Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA Demonstrated competency in mental health rehabilitation with ability to plan, implement and evaluate individual and group clinical rehabilitation interventions (e.g., skills assessment and training, vocational interventions, health promotion, education, motivational interviewing, psychosocial strategies) Experience working with young people (14‑25 years) with mental health concerns and knowledge of the mental health needs of young consumers with early psychosis and their families Demonstrated commitment to consumer participation and a strengths‑based, recovery‑focused approach to service provision Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively within the multi‑disciplinary team and with a diverse range of stakeholders Ability to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, evidence‑based practice and ongoing clinical and professional learning Current, unrestricted NSW Driver’s licence Additional Information And Benefits Eligibility list may be created for future Permanent Full Time positions Up to 12 allocated days off each year (for full‑time employees) in addition to annual leave Salary packaging options that reduce your taxable income and increase your take‑home pay (up to $9K for living expenses and $2.6K meal & entertainment & Novated Leasing) Discounted gym memberships with a Fitness Passport Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees and family members Discounted Private Health Insurance Reasonable Adjustments NSW Health recognises everyone is unique and you may require adjustments to ensure you have the best opportunity to apply.
