Job tasks and responsibilities Our small, friendly team in Belmont would welcome someone who can help drive innovation within our varied bookkeeping client base. The role could be flexible and may suit someone looking for fulltime or part time hours; we are open to discussions with the right candidate. In addition, we are happy to discuss time between the office and work from home. (Some work from the office is a requirement) Management and mentoring of bookkeeping team Management of bookkeeping clients including acting as client liaison on bookkeeping matters and ensuring excellent client service is delivered Data entry and reconciliations Preparation and review of statutory obligations such as IAS, BAS and STP finalisation Processing of payroll and superannuation Provide recommendations on tailored software solutions for our clients Managing and responding to day‑to‑day client enquiries and requests Assist our clients to improve their bookkeeping processes through process design and software set‑up and integration Provide our clients with ongoing training and support Skills and experience At least 5 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping role is essential (public practice experience is required) Extensive experience using bookkeeping software, in particular Xero and MYOB Passion and knowledge of leading software packages and integrations Professional manner and good communication skills Experience working to deadlines and strong time‑management skills Ability to apply a commercial approach to work Job benefits and perks Hillier's Advisors is a boutique Chartered Accounting firm in Belmont with a dynamic professional team.
