2IC / Leading Hand Concreter – Allcrete Pty Ltd About Us Allcrete Pty Ltd is a locally owned concreting company with over 30 years’ experience delivering high-quality residential concreting across the Central Coast and Hunter regions. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated 2IC / Leading Hand Concreter to support our Supervisor — someone who leads by example, takes pride in their work, and stays hands-on on every job. About the Role This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced concreter with the ability to lead and motivate a small team. You’ll work closely with the Supervisor to coordinate daily site operations, guide the crew, maintain top-quality finishes, and uphold safety standards — all while being on the tools yourself. You’ll be the right-hand person on site, stepping up when needed to keep projects running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day site coordination Lead and motivate team members by example Read plans, set out, pour, screed and finish concrete to a high standard Ensure job sites are safe, clean and efficient Step up to manage sites when the Supervisor is off-site Qualifications Current Driver’s Licence Valid White Card (Construction Induction) Proven experience in residential concreting Reliable, punctual and physically fit Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and take initiative Commitment to safety and high‑quality workmanship Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone with solid experience in the concreting industry, ideally in a similar leading‑hand or 2IC position. You’ll have several years of hands‑on concreting experience, a strong understanding of onsite safety, and a reliable work ethic. You must be available Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime when required. Reliability, consistency, and pride in your workmanship are essential.
