About the Role: Join our team as a Food Services Assistant (FSA) on a part‑time basis to work at Monash Medical Centre based in Clayton. Being part of the Support Services team and reporting to the Food Services Manager, FSA’s play a vital role in providing high‑quality meal services to patients and supporting overall patient nutrition and food safety. FSA’s are responsible for the preparation and delivery of meals, cleaning of food service areas, all whilst ensuring patient’s dietary needs are met accurately and efficiently. FSA’s contribute to patient care by ensuring meals are delivered on time, safely, accurately and with respect. You have a passion for patient care and nutrition, ensuring patients are treated with respect and empathy. You are a reliable and punctual team member with great verbal and written communication skills; and intermediate computer skills. Whether you work independently or as part of a team; you always follow manual handling, safety protocols, and procedural instructions. It would be an advantage if you also have comprehensive understanding of diet codes, texture modified foods and fluids, food allergies and intolerances.
