About the role Penrith Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Leader to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our thriving childcare facility. As the Centre Director, you will be our nominated supervisor responsible for leading a dedicated team of educators to deliver exceptional early childhood education and care in a nurturing and stimulating environment. This is a full‑time role based in Penrith, NSW 2750. We have just completed A & R and received a meeting in all quality areas. What you'll be doing Provide strong leadership and strategic direction for the centre, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality care and educational programs that meet the needs of children and families. Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of educators, fostering a positive, collaborative, and professional team culture. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children. Develop and implement quality improvement plans, continuously seeking ways to enhance the centre's operations and educational programs. Foster positive relationships with families, the local community, and other stakeholders, acting as the centre's primary point of contact. Manage the centre's budget, resources, and administrative tasks, ensuring the efficient and effective running of the facility. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree (preferable) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the childcare industry. Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and other relevant regulations and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families, staff, and the community. Pro record of leading a team, fostering a positive work culture, and driving continuous improvement. Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible care and learning experiences for children.
