Why This Role Matters As part of our Communications & External Affairs (CEA) team, you'll be at the heart of our efforts to maintain and strengthen bp's reputation in Australia. From crafting compelling narratives to managing critical issues, your work will help create a favorable environment for our evolving business and strategy. What You'll Do Lead & Innovate: Design and deliver integrated, end-to-end communication strategies that bring our vision to life. Create Impactful Content: Develop messaging, social media assets, infographics, and digital collateral that resonate with diverse audiences. Collaborate & Influence: Partner with internal teams and external collaborators to support conferences, speaking engagements, and crisis response. Drive Engagement: Build strategic internal communications, employee advocacy programs, and community investment initiatives. Stay Ahead: Monitor emerging issues, manage media relations, and craft proactive mitigation plans. Champion Digital: Leverage digital channels and storytelling to amplify our message and connect significantly. What We're Looking For Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, International Relations, or related field. Experience: 5-10 years in senior communications roles (in-house or agency), with a proven track record in reputation management and campaign execution. Skills That Set You Apart: Strategic problem solver with strong project management skills. Digital-savvy storyteller with experience in social media, infographics, and visual content.
