We welcome hundreds of players and spectators each week… but our bar and café are just getting started . We have the space, foot traffic, and customer base—now we need the right person (or team) to take ownership and transform the bar and café into the buzzing heart of our venue. The Opportunity Right now, our bar and café are under-utilised . The foundations are there, but we know they can be so much more. We're looking for passionate, ideas-driven hospitality professionals who want to: Build the bar/café into a dynamic, profitable part of the facility Create a welcoming social atmosphere for players, spectators, families and the wider community Develop menus, specials, events and activations Grow patronage through great service and smart operations Bring creativity and energy to a facility that's ready to level up This is not just a job—it's an opportunity to shape your own venue within our venue. What We’re Offering We are truly flexible and open-minded. We will tailor the arrangement around the best candidate/s. Options include: Employment (full-time, part-time, or casual leadership roles) Contract management of the café, bar or both A hybrid partnership arrangement Opportunity to influence design, menu, staffing, and direction You’ll have the support of management and access to a built-in customer base from our ever-growing sports and events programs. What You’ll Be Responsible For Depending on your skills and preferred scope, your role could include: Daily management of the bar and/or café RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate must be obtained within 30 days of starting Menu development and product selection Staff recruitment, training and rostering Team leader experience is essential for managing staff recruitment, training and rostering responsibilities Driving sales, promotions and themed events Ordering, stock control and supplier relationships Creating a community vibe and memorable customer experience Working closely with facility management to grow the business Who We’re Looking For People who are: Entrepreneurial and excited to build something Friendly, confident and customer-driven Organised, responsible and able to run a venue day-to-day Creative with ideas for driving engagement and revenue Keen to take ownership and lead a team Passionate about hospitality, sport, and community Australian permanent residency is required for this position.
