Research Assistant

Austin Health is seeking a Research Assistant to provide support in coordinating and conducting three large externally funded research projects. The research projects are funded by the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF). The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in science from an Australian University, or recognised equivalent study, and strong organisational, time, and project management skills. They will also have well-developed analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a cooperative team. The role is full-time, fixed term for 4 years, and is located in Heidelberg with some travel required. The Research Assistant will be part of a vibrant clinical research team and will have the opportunity to work on projects that aim to simplify and streamline diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnoea and improve non-invasive ventilation therapy. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and conduct research projects Provide administrative support to the research team Analyse data and prepare reports Communicate with stakeholders and collaborators Requirements Bachelor's degree in science from an Australian University, or recognised equivalent study Strong organisational, time, and project management skills Well-developed analytical and communication skills Ability to work both independently and in a cooperative team Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), with adherence to ICH-GCP and WHO guidelines for scientific research Austin Health offers a range of benefits, including generous salary packaging, wellness initiatives, and career development opportunities.
