We are seeking a passionate, purpose-driven Coordinator to join our YMCA Acacia Ridge Outside School Hours Care service on a full time basis. As the Coordinator, you will lead a dedicated team of educators, create engaging programs for children, and play a key role in building inclusive, vibrant communities. Why work with us? You’ll also enjoy: Salary & Compensation - Discounted Private Health Insurance Work Life Balance – Flexible Working Hours Between 6.00am – 6.00pm Working Environment – Career Coaching and Progression Opportunities What you’ll do Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service Develop fun, child-led programs Lead and support a team of passionate educators Ensure high standards in compliance, administration, and safety Build strong connections with families, schools and the local community Create a space where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow What you’ll bring A Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC or Teaching qualification (or studying towards) Demonstrated experience in children’s programming and service operations Strong communication, leadership and time‑management skills A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain) Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain) A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children Familiarity with the National Quality Framework About YMCA OSHC The YMCA provides Outside School Hours Care services to 60 school communities across South East Queensland.
