Senior Payroll Officer Located at Sydney’s Iconic - Taronga Zoo Full-time, ongoing position TCSA Salaried Employees Award, Clerk Grade 5 / 6, annual package starting from $104,809 (includes base salary starting from $93,295 + plus superannuation & leave loading) SAP / SuccessFactors Experience Taronga Zoo Sydney is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Payroll Officer to join our People, Culture & Safety team If you thrive in a busy, customer focused payroll team, have a passion for wildlife conservation, and the thought of working for a world class conservation organization excites you, then there is no better role for you Key Accountabilities Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and compliance with relevant legislation, employment awards, policies and procedures. Provide internal and external reporting and analysis of payroll and employee related information in conjunction with our time and attendance system. Provide ongoing support and advice to managers and employees on employee entitlements and payroll related matters to align with business requirements. Manage any discrepancies in payroll processing including liaising with banking institutions, the Australian Taxation Office, Government agencies, and employees to identify and implement resolutions. Manage reconciliations of statutory requirements, Superannuation and Single Touch Payroll. Utilise the maximum capability of our payroll and rostering systems to deliver optimum outcomes for Taronga ensuring such systems are compliant with relevant industrial instruments and Awards, legislation, regulatory requirements and Taronga policies and procedures. About You 3-5 yrs full end-to-end payroll processing. Experience in Payroll Compliance, Super, Group Tax, STP Reporting (desirable). SAP Experience (Highly Desirable). UKG Experience (desirable). Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables), and the ability to work with multiple systems holding various payroll information. NSW Working with Children's Expense.
