Role Description Due to continued growth across our Urban Development & Regeneration business and our strong pipeline of work, we are looking for a Construction Services Lead to join our Sydney team to deliver Urban development projects with a focus on industrial urban regeneration, residential greenfield, roads, public infrastructure and water projects. We are seeking a motivated individual who can support our construction delivery team, able to provide client-side project management through construction phase and drive business development in our existing and emerging markets. This is a senior role that requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering and construction management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale urban development projects and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in civil engineering. Responsibilities Client network, sales and business growth mindset. Client-side project management through construction phase experience. Construction delivery experience (project verification, construction phase services, site inspections, superintendent). Support the construction services team lead and the team to deliver construction phase services. Oversee project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and standards are met. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Provide technical guidance and support to the team, resolving any issues that arise during the construction process. Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth project execution. Ensure that the design component of the project comes in within agreed budgets and delivery dates. Qualifications & Experience First and foremost, you share our passion for improving quality of life and want to be part of city-shaping projects. You have a forward-thinking attitude and are ready to challenge yourself. You have relevant qualification(s) (i.e. civil engineering, project management) from a recognized institution. You will come to us with: Minimum of 15 years of experience across project and construction management, with a focus on urban development projects. Strong leadership and team management skills. Demonstrated construction related civil engineering experience gained across urban development projects working in Australia; exposure to residential and industrial subdivisions is essential with infrastructure experience advantageous. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills and report writing skills. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Driver’s licence is required.
