Opportunity Join the South Melbourne team as an Exercise Scientist. This role is dedicated to educating and supervising clients on the training floor to achieve long-term health outcomes through strength training. Responsibilities Actively engage on the training floor by conducting 1:1 and group sessions, strength assessments, and movement analysis with clients. Apply scientific concepts (biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology, motor control) and evidence-based practices to support clients. Provide evidence-based advice on health, fitness, well-being, and physical performance. Develop and implement exercise prescriptions and plans for clients. Establish, assess, and reassess goals for new and long-term clients. Guide athletes or clients with fitness goals to achieve peak performance and recover from injury. Complete a range of administrative duties. Consistently deliver high-quality service in accordance with Kieser standards.> Qualifications & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Exercise/Sports Science or related discipline with at least two of the following units completed: Physiology & Anatomy; Biomechanics/Human Movement; Exercise Programming/Prescription. OR currently undertaking third year (or subsequent) of study in Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Relevant placement/practicum learning regarding Exercise Prescription. Valid working rights in Australia. First Aid & CPR Certification. NDIS Worker Screening Check. Working with Children Check. Desirable 1+ years relevant work experience. Previous private practice experience. Previous experience with long-term management of client outcomes in a strength training environment.
