For more information on working with us and our recruitment process, please visit Department of Families, Fairness andHousing Victoria | Jobs ( THE ROLE The Senior Tenancy & Property Officer role is a client facing position which supports the delivery of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing's housing program and plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of client-centered services to individuals and families who seek housing assistance or reside in public housing. Senior Tenancy & Property Officers are part of a network of community workers and organisations that share the responsibility for working with vulnerable people to promote and support their wellbeing. Based in offices across the state, the role undertakes a range of tasks relating to tenancy and property management and the provision of housing advice and assistance. The Senior Tenancy & Property Officer is a highly skilled housing worker who uses their expertise and knowledge to resolve complex and challenging problems associated with client needs and housing tenancies. They have a key role in coaching, mentoring and guiding other housing staff and require the capability to work proactively in managing service delivery complexity. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Initiate and facilitate case conferences for clients which may include cross Department and agency collaboration. Review and recommend strategies for early intervention involving clients with challenging problems, including the use of risk assessment tools and frameworks.
