As a Food Services Assistant and Café Specialist, you will focus on delivering high‑quality catering that meets nutritional needs, hydration requirements, and individual preferences, including any special dietary considerations. Working as part of a friendly and close‑knit team, your focus will be: Perform basic food preparation tasks and cooking basic meals. Prepare, present and serve / deliver food and refreshments, ensuring awareness of special needs for modified diets Plate and present food in an appealing manner and to a high‑quality visual standard according to individual requirements Requirements Food Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or progression towards the completion of a Food Safety Certificate Previous experience working in a food services environment and/or at an aged care facility Patience; common sense and a strong ethos of client service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work within a team and to work with minimum supervision Availability to work both day and afternoon shift Why VMCH?
