As part of our exciting growth journey, we are expanding our Northern and Western Suburbs start up leadership team and seeking an experienced, values-driven Area Manager to lead a portfolio of centres in this thriving region. This newly created role reflects our commitment to ensuring strong support as Aspire continues to grow. The Opportunity As a Centre Start-Up Area Manager, you'll oversee multiple upcoming centres in Melbourne, leading a team of Centre Managers to ensure a smooth start-up process. Your Responsibilities Will Include Coordinating Setup: Oversee the setup of furnishings and resources at each new centre, ensuring all necessary equipment, materials, and facilities are in place to provide a conducive learning environment for children. Managing Compliance: Navigate the complexities of pre-service approval tasks and licensing documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Recruitment and Training: Play a key role in the recruitment and training of staff members for the new centres, conducting interviews and providing comprehensive training. Occupancy Growth and Family Satisfaction: Drive occupancy growth by attracting new families and ensuring families are satisfied with the care and services provided. Setting up for Success: In the first three months of operation, establish each new centre for success by overseeing all aspects of operations, addressing challenges, and implementing growth strategies. About You Experienced Area Manager/Multi-Site Centre Manager proficient in starting up & managing multiple childcare services. Willingness to travel between centres and our Head Office in South Yarra. Holds relevant early childhood qualification. Track record of delivering exceptional results in improving centre operational targets. Effective time management, people management, and interpersonal skills. Up-to-date knowledge of compliance requirements within the National Quality Framework. Strong self-management skills, adept at prioritising tasks. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
