Accounts Receivable Officer Full-Time Opportunity | Castle Hill, Sydney Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented accounts receivable officer with a passion for accuracy and process? We are partnering with a highly respected automotive dealership group to find a dedicated Accounts Receivable Officer to join their dynamic administration team. This is a critical role that combines core Accounts Receivable duties with essential vehicle processing and costing tasks. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be the linchpin for both the company's daily accounting requirements and the streamlined processing of new, used, and wholesale vehicles. If you have exceptional numeracy, a 'can-do' attitude, and enjoy a varied workload, this is your next career step Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable (AR) & Administration Take ownership of Parts & Service Debtors, ensuring timely collections and management. Handle daily banking, cash, and EFTPOS reconciliation duties. Complete allocated monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and prepare necessary General Ledger journal entries. Assist with accounts administration, mail sorting, typing, and general office filing. Deal Processing and Costing Accurately manage, coordinate, and process vehicle deals (new, used, and wholesale). Ensure all vehicle costing processes adhere to strict franchise and dealership guidelines. Review and reconcile complex factory claims and all associated deal pack documentation for multiple franchises. What You Will Bring to the Role We are looking for a highly capable and experienced professional who demonstrates: A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar administration, accounting support, or automotive dealership role. Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Advanced Excel skills highly regarded). Exceptional numeracy, attention to detail, and high accuracy in data entry and typing. Proven ability to 'think outside the square' and solve problems relating to accounting and deal flow. Strong verbal and written communication skills for dealing with internal stakeholders and customers. Desirable Attributes Previous experience working with a Dealer Management System (DMS) is highly desirable. A genuine interest in accounting and a commitment to continuous learning.
