Infrastructure Team Lead

Talenza have been engaged by an Australian ASX listed company to find an Infrastructure Team Leader to work across a Microsoft uplift program of work. The successful candidate will be an experienced, hands‑on Infrastructure Engineer ideally with some technical leadership experience and solution design contribution experience. This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane CBD office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights. Benefits Permanent opportunity Competitive salary Hybrid working environment (3 days per week in office) Amazing leadership group and office/team culture Global ASX listed enterprise Training and development budget Medium sized, high performing infrastructure team Key Requirements Administer and maintain core infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, and PowerShell automation. Previous experience migrating from Microsoft 2012 servers. Administer and optimise SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning, replication management, and backup/recovery operations. Manage virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix) and perform non‑disruptive upgrades of critical infrastructure. Lead capacity planning, hardware/software procurement, and vendor licensing to support scalable enterprise environments. Oversee large‑scale server infrastructure, including Dell PowerEdge host management and optimisation. Implement shift‑left practices to improve service reliability, proactive monitoring, and cloud operational efficiency. Provide technical leadership and effective stakeholder engagement to drive collaboration, change management, and service excellence.
