About the role AGL’s Retail Transformation team is looking for a Data & Reporting Capability Analyst to help shape the future of data‑driven insights and reporting across Customer Markets. This is a 24‑month maximum term contract based in Melbourne . This role is pivotal in enabling the development and maturity of AGL’s data and reporting capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and transformation outcomes. What you will be doing: Elicit, document, and maintain business requirements for data and reporting capabilities. Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to validate and refine functional requirements. Maintain integrity of artefacts such as reporting catalogues and process maps. Apply prioritisation methodologies (e.g., MoSCoW) to consolidate requirements. Collaborate with product, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure features are ready for development. Act as a conduit between business and technical teams to translate capability needs into actionable deliverables. Support adoption of data and reporting tools within Customer Markets. Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies impacting delivery. What you will bring: You’re a collaborative analyst with strong business acumen and a passion for data‑driven decision‑making. Proven experience in business analysis and/or product ownership within data, reporting, or analytics domains. Strong understanding of data and reporting landscapes in customer‑focused environments. Ability to simplify complex concepts for non‑technical stakeholders. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Experience facilitating workshops for requirements gathering and prioritisation. Desirable: Advanced Excel and Power BI skills. Familiarity with data platforms such as Databricks and scalable reporting solutions. SQL Applications close 31st December 2025.
