Role Description This is a contract Business Development Manager role based in Melbourne, VIC, with a hybrid work model allowing some work‑from‑home flexibility. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Key responsibilities include market research, developing tailored proposals, building strategic partnerships, and maintaining a strong network within the construction industry. The candidate will also work closely with operational teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and project success. Qualifications Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the construction or property development sector. Strong skills in market research, lead generation, and strategic planning to identify and on business opportunities. Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to establish and maintain client and stakeholder relationships. Understanding of construction, property development processes, and technical project management is highly desirable. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, a focus on achieving targets and driving results. Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools for business development and reporting purposes. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred). Strong network in the construction or real estate industry is considered advantageous.
