Program Manager – Inclusive Community Programs Are you passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for children and young people with disability? We’re looking for a Program Manager to join our small, dedicated team as we deliver programs that foster inclusion, friendship, and confidence for children, teens, and young adults with disability — and meaningful connections for their families. About Us We’re a community not-for-profit organisation based in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, with a big heart and a clear purpose: to build a more inclusive community by supporting people with disability and their families. Our programs bring together participants, families, and volunteers to share experiences, learn new skills, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. About the Role As our Program Manager, you’ll lead the coordination and delivery of all of our Friendship Circle community programs — ensuring every experience runs smoothly, safely, and with warmth and care. You’ll coach and support our amazing and dedicated team of Program Coordinators and Team Leaders (part-time university students) who manage the day‑to‑day delivery of specific programs. This is a hands‑on role that blends leadership, logistics, and relationship management. You’ll work closely with families, volunteers, and partners to make sure each program has the right people, numbers, and resources in place — and that every participant feels seen, supported, and included. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and support the on‑site delivery team to plan and deliver high‑quality, educative inclusive programs. Manage program budgets, resource allocation and scheduling to ensure smooth program delivery. Create a positive and fulfilling participant and volunteer experience for our Friendship Circle community. Build trusted relationships with families — supporting clear communication, care, and connection. Champion a culture of inclusion, safety and belonging across all programs. Monitor program feedback and outcomes to continuously improve the participant and family experience. About You Experience coordinating or managing community, education, or recreation programs. Strong communication and relationship skills. Confident leading, mentoring and coaching junior staff or volunteers. Solid organisational skills — able to juggle multiple moving parts with care and attention to detail. A warm, inclusive approach that aligns with our values of belonging, respect, and purpose. First Aid Certificate, WWCC, and Police Check. Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Education, Disability, or related fields. Experience in a not-for-profit or volunteer‑led organisation.
