Join our Kindy team at Xavier and make a difference in a warm, fun, and community-focused setting based in Eli Waters, Hervey Bay Come Join Our Xavier Kindy Family in Eli Waters We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic, qualified educator to join our team on a casual basis at Xavier Kindergarten located at Xavier Catholic College. We offer a Queensland Government–approved kindergarten program taught by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) . Our 22-place, standalone Kindy operates 40 weeks a year and closes during school holidays— but there’s often the chance to pick up extra shifts across other CEEC services in the Fraser Coast/Hervey Bay Region. Our Kindy has a wonderful connection with the school community. The children love visiting the library each week to borrow books, exploring the prep classrooms and playgrounds, and joining in school events like sports carnivals. If you’re dedicated to early learning and enjoy being part of a supportive, community-focused team, we’d love to hear from you Key Responsibilities Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment Work as an effective team member to ensure the best outcomes for children and families Participate in professional and personal development Job Requirements Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) required Experience in education and care services, including inclusion support, desirable Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) – Queensland Government Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Law/Regulations Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework and QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits Competitive Salary – Earn a salary that mirrors your expertise and accomplishments, turning your qualifications and experience into exciting financial rewards Flexible work location – Work from one primary service with the opportunity to work additional shifts across CEEC’s 130+ services, if desired.
