Managing Security Consultant – Assurance At Infotrust , we help some of Australia's most recognised organisations build trust in a digital world. With a team of over 200 cyber professionals across Australia and the Philippines, we deliver the expertise, collaboration, and practical know-how that help our clients stay secure. We're now looking for a Managing Security Consultant to join our growing Assurance practice – this is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows what great delivery looks like and loves building high‑performing teams. The Role Reporting to the Head of Assurance , you'll be the operational heartbeat of our Assurance practice – leading consultants, overseeing delivery, and ensuring engagements run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a blend of technical leadership and team management. You'll coordinate resources across multiple projects, mentor consultants, and maintain consistency in how we deliver assurance work – while still keeping your technical edge through involvement in complex engagements. Responsibilities Lead and support a team of security consultants delivering high‑quality assurance and penetration testing engagements. Oversee project delivery: resourcing, timelines, budgets, and client satisfaction. Coach, develop, and mentor team members to grow their technical capability and consulting skills. Maintain and improve delivery frameworks, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency. Contribute to technical delivery on complex or high‑impact engagements. Drive utilisation and performance targets while fostering a positive team culture. Skills & Experience 4+ years' experience in offensive security / assurance with exposure to consulting delivery. Proven experience leading or managing technical teams in a professional services setting. Strong technical understanding across application, infrastructure, and cloud security. Certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, or CREST CRT / CCT (or equivalent). Excellent communication skills: able to balance client needs, team leadership, and delivery quality.
