Edward Mann is recruiting for an international business based in Newcastle. They also have offices in Brisbane which the successful candidate can be based out of either location.The company operates in a standard working environment, 5 days in office with some scope for ad-hoc flexibility.This position will play a key role the in planning, coordination and execution of all phases of the project, ensuring successful completion on time, within scope and within budget.While working with various teams across the business, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of the software. It begins with the facilitation of requirements and scope validation workshops for all value streams, followed by the development of comprehensive project plans, including opportunity, objectives, deliverables, communications, change and timelines.Paying up to $150 + Super p/h with possible flexibility for excellent candidates. This position will be for circa 12-18 months, with a strong chance of further project work for the right candidate.The role:Project Planning and Management - oversee the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA from ECC, ensuring it meets business requirements and technical specifications. Organise and facilitate requirements and scope validation workshops for all value streams. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, communications, change and timelines. Define project tasks and resource requirements. Manage project budget, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to financial constraints. Coordinate data migration, system configuration, and integration activities.Continuous Improvement - foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing project progress and outcomes. Encourage feedback and implement lessons learned to improve future projects and processes.Customer focus – ensure the implementation delivers expected outcome to the business. Prioritise the needs and expectations of internal and external stakeholders.Change Management - ensure smooth transition and adoption of the SAP S/4HANA system by effectively managing changes related to people, processes, and technology.Post Implementation Support - provide support during the post-implementation phase. Ensure smooth transition of the system landscape to BAU support teamsQuality Assurance – deliver project deliverables with the expected quality standards. Implement robust testing, validation, and quality control processes to ensure the solution meets business requirements and technical specifications.Collaboration and Teamwork - promote a collaborative working environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork. Engage cross-functional teams and ensure effective coordination between Sites, BPOs, Module Leads, BSAs, IT, and partners.Transparency and Communication – facilitate and maintain open and transparent communication with all stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.Team Leadership - lead, motivate, and manage project team members, including assigning tasks and setting performance expectations. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.Risk Management - proactively identify and mitigate project risks to minimise impact on project timelines and outcomes. Develop and implement effective risk management and contingency plans.Integrity - Uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in all project activities. Ensure compliance with internal policies and guidelines.Innovation and Adaptability - embrace innovative solutions and new technologies to enhance project outcomes. About you:To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management experienceRecognised tertiary qualification in computer science, IT, Business Administration or related fieldSAP S/4 Hana and H4S4 experience will be highly regarded – understanding of its modulesDemonstrated change management experience covering technical and process change.Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.Proven people management and mentoring experience.Ability to analyse complex systems and data, communicating highly technical concepts to cross functional teams.Strong stakeholder management ability.Ability to prioritise, influence and track delivery of conflicting tasks and activities.For more information please apply ASAP.Edward Mann Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
