The site currently produces around 145 million litres of product every year We proudly source milk from around 60 dairy farms across NSW and are passionate about supporting local products. Bega Group are seeking a Quality Coordinator to join the team This role is responsible for maintaining quality assurance of products and the food safety quality programme. This person will ensure there are no defects, and ensure quality is in line with company or national and international standards, as well as implementing and maintaining effective prerequisite programs. GMP audits and being a HAACP leader is a big part of the role. This is a permanent, full-time site-based Mon‑Fri position with flexible start and finish times. Responsibilities Liaise with production staff and senior management and to ensure any quality problems are addressed. Monitor the department hygiene standards through inspections and swabbing activities and to assist the site service team with trouble shooting and continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct GMP Audits and ensure they are completed on time and to a high standard. Be an involved team member of the Quality Group, support the Quality Manager as required. About you Experience in Quality in a relevant industry such as Dairy Manufacturing. Degree in Food Science or Engineering desirable. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in food safety and quality assurance management systems, including principles and application of Process Control. Happy to work autonomously & independently with minimal support from the leadership team. Intermediate skills in using Quality Management programs (i.e. SAP/M3 or IRIS).
