Electrical Apprentice

We have an opportunity for an Electrical Apprentice to join our electrical contracting company, Prospecta Utilities at our north Brisbane lifestyle community - Gemlife Moreton Bay (Burpengary East). This role is a full time opportunity where you will work alongside experienced Electricians - learning installations, maintenance and commissioning across new home builds, commercial and solar. As part of the apprenticeship you will undertake formal training towards a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, combining classroom learning with on-the-job experience. About you: We are looking for motivated individuals ready to start their electrical careers and commit to a full time apprenticeship. To be considered you will have: a strong interest in becoming an electrician a solid work ethic, be reliable and willing to learn have completed Year 12 and left school and be available full time must be able to commence work each day at 6:30am at our Moreton Bay site in Burpengary East possess a construction industry white card or be prepared to get one as soon as possible must be local to the north Brisbane or southern Sunshine Coast area ability to perform manual work have a basic understanding of hand and power tools must be able to work overtime, Monday to Friday - hours are generally 6:30am to 5:00pm.
