Role Part Time Role 0.6 FTE Are you a motivated and passionate Ward Clerk or Administrator looking to step into a rewarding career opportunity? This is a great role for experienced and patient care focused individuals who are wanting to achieve a dynamic career in Healthcare. Responsibilities Providing support to Ward 3C (20 bed adult acute mental health unit) and MHSSU (6 bed Mental Health Short Stay Unit) as a Ward Clerk with responsibilities including: Work closely with nursing, medical, and allied health teams to support administrative processes and facilitate efficient workflow. Coordinate schedules and ensure timely submission of required forms and reports. Liaise with the psychiatry team to prepare and organize documentation for Mental Health Tribunal hearings. Maintain awareness of relevant legislative requirements and compliance standards. Ensure all legal paperwork is accurate, complete, and up to date in accordance with the Mental Health Act. Monitor and answer doorbells, ensuring smooth access control and visitor management. Attend to incoming phone calls and respond promptly to inquiries. Experience in an acute patient-focused healthcare facility/hospital. Highly developed interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary environments. Good computer literacy and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). A track record of providing great service and customer experience. Strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills. Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
