Overview You are applying for the position of Final QC/Dispatch Officer for company CEA . Please fill in your details below to submit an application for this position. This position is located in: Carrum Downs The Position You will Maintain Quality control and assist in day to day operations in areas of Mechanical Assembly and inspection of Inward and Outward goods in the Melbourne Production area. Responsibilities Operate within CEA’s quality standards within the Production area. Ensure Quality Management System Obligations are met and ensure the development and maintenance of a strong quality culture to meet and exceed customer requirements, including visiting suppliers to discuss quality matters. Provide value adding to machined parts which includes Mechanical Assembly (fitting recoils / captive fasteners). Inwards and Outwards goods inspection. Hand finishing of sheet metal and machined components. Ensure document and stock control is up to date. Packing of goods produced in-house; pickups and local deliveries. Perform other factory duties as required. About You Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Quality Control Officer, including Quality Inspection of mechanical items. Competent in use of Microsoft applications including Excel/ Word at an Intermediate level. Experience in Quality Assurance of Inward and Outward goods inspection. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to focus for long periods of time. Mechanical aptitude including competent in use of measuring tools. Current Drivers Licence.
