Female Support Worker

We are currently looking for experienced Female Support Worker to assist with a client in Banora Point. Experience working with administering medication, dental care, hoisting for personal care and bed transfer, catheter care and domestic assistance is highly admirable for this position as well as experience with neurological conditions. This role is casual however full-time hours are available for the right candidate with an immediate start. Shifts are Mondays and Fridays from 6pm to 8pm. What you'll do: Complete all tasks relevant to support work including anything from meal preparation to domestic assistance and client transport Empower participants to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible Provide direct support in a 1:1 & 2:1 capacity in accordance with the individual's care plan & PBSP Maintain detailed and accurate documentation such as shift notes, progress notes, behaviour charts and incident reports Follow company policies and procedures Requirements Valid Driver's Licence Access to a comprehensive insured car with 5 seats NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques. MUST be available to work a minimum of 4 days per week on an ongoing basis within the following time frames: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 2pm-6am (sleepover), 10pm-6am awake/active shift. Why join us?
