This role is based at Tweed Aged Care Home | Northern Rivers NSW & Gold Coast QLD and involves collaborating with nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams to provide resident-centric care in a timely and compassionate manner. Overview Our Resident Carers can work across the 7 days on AM, PM and Nighttime shifts, with in-house training programs and buddy systems. The attached position description outlines specific job duties and accountabilities. Responsibilities Provide resident-centric care in collaboration with nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams. Work across AM, PM and Nighttime shifts as required. Participate in in-house training programs and buddy systems to support safety and care standards. What We Look For / About You Empathy, strong work ethic and a passion for making a difference to the elderly. Excellent safety awareness to prevent trips, falls and injuries; act as an extra eyes and ears for residents. Positive teamwork, effective time management, and adherence to safety procedures in a shift-driven environment. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, building rapport in a calm, patient and empathetic manner. Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or other related healthcare qualifications (including Nursing Diploma or Nursing degree). NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain it.
