The Opportunity Ocean View Retirement Living is a vibrant community with glorious views of the Pacific Ocean for the enjoyment of all residents from the community centre. In this exciting position, you will work as a Personal Care Attendant to provide high-quality social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. This highly social role has a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building social connection and assisting with day-to-day tasks. Your Impact Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.g. driving them to appointments) Supporting residents with recreational and social activities Assist residents with their day-to-day routines in line with their current needs (e.g assist around their unit) Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date What we offer $43.24/hr (inlcuding 25% casual loading) + super + relevant award entitlements A highly social, fun and rewarding position Employee ReferralProgramand Employee Assistance Program Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers Opportunities for further career progression Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living community What you will bring Experience within a Support Worker or Personal Care position, with a passion for independence and wellbeing Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required) Valid drivers license + vehicle (required) Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required) Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you) Who we are As a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience, Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
