Division : Policy & Corporate Affairs Department : Stakeholder Engagement Engagement type : Permanent Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of AEMO's enterprise investor, developer and financier engagement strategy aligned with corporate objectives and statutory and / or contractual obligations. Work closely with the GM Stakeholder Engagement, relevant GMs in strategy, finance and onboarding and connections, and members of the Executive Leadership Team, to develop and drive a strategic investor relations program of work, focused on three limbs – engagement with the broader investment market for the energy transition, engagement with key stakeholders on strategic and financial matters relevant to AEMO and engagement with developers through our Onboarding and Connections function. Identify and proactively address stakeholder and industry trends and issues, evaluate insights and feedback, and provide strategic advice and recommendations that serve to enhance AEMO's relationships, trust and reputation with stakeholders, deliver better engagement and energy outcomes, and mitigate risks. Work closely with the communications and finance teams to develop collateral to support the translation of AEMO performance and objectives into a compelling value narrative for our stakeholders. What You Will Bring To The Role Investor relations engagement and communications expertise is essential, with a preference for experience in the energy sector. Strong understanding of strategic and financial concepts and ability to translate strategic and financial information into easy to understand language. Experience in supporting investment-related policy and reform in regulated environments highly desirable. Experience leading small to medium sized teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to advocate, negotiate and influence outcomes while maintaining strong working relationships.
