Community & Stakeholder Engagement Manager Job Details Posting Start Date: 20/10/2025 About Gamuda Engineering Gamuda Engineering is a reputable engineering and construction contractor that specialises in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of transport, civil and energy infrastructure projects. We have established offices in Sydney and Brisbane to pursue and deliver a variety of construction projects, including the Sydney Metro West – Western Tunnelling Package and joint venture partnerships delivering the $1.35B Coffs Harbour Bypass and the $1bn M1 Motorway Extension Southern Package. The Role We currently have new project opportunities nearing commencement in Western Sydney and Northern Suburbs requiring a dedicated Community & Stakeholder Engagement Manager. The role responsibilities include: Developing project community engagement strategies and Community & Stakeholder Engagement Management Plans. Establishing and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and community along project alignments. Identifying and managing key community relations risks. Liaising closely with the construction delivery team to ensure community & stakeholder commitments are met. Championing internal communications and promoting a positive project team culture. Your Skills & Experience You will have tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations or similar and have experience as a Community & Stakeholder Engagement Manager in a construction or engineering firm. Your specific skills and experience will include: Understanding and experience managing community impacts on civil engineering projects such as roadworks, water and rail projects. A demonstrated understanding of cultural sensitivity and addressing these challenges on projects. Knowledge of key institutional stakeholders and managing client engagement processes and approvals. Strong relationships building and influencing skills.
