This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll oversee workshop operations, manage staff, and ensure high standards of safety, service, and quality. About the company: This Australian‑owned business has over 38 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry. With 12 branches across the country, they specialise in the manufacture, supply, and repair of drivetrains for mining, industrial, agricultural, transport, 4WD and performance vehicles. The company is evolving with the industry and committed to maintaining its position as a leader in underbody and power transmission solutions. About the role: Lead and manage a team of skilled workshop staff, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to high quality standards Oversee branch operations including customer service, job allocation, stock control, reporting, and asset management Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction Represent the business with existing and potential customers, building strong relationships and trust New business development & account management What’s on offer: A stable, well‑supported branch with autonomy to lead and grow Opportunities to contribute to business strategy and operational improvements A collaborative team culture with strong values and long‑term vision Generous remuneration, company vehicle and tools of the trade What you’ll bring: A mechanical trade qualification (e.g. MEM30205 - Engineering Mechanical Trade or equivalent) 5 years+ proven experience in workshop operations, ideally with leadership responsibilities Background in mining would be desirable Strong organisational and communication skills A commitment to safety, quality, and customer service Some intrastate travel will be required Ready to take the next step in your career?
