Job Description Exciting opportunity to join the site R&D team in ADD SITE within the Quality & Food Safety Function as the Lab Management Lead. The purpose of the role is to lead a team of lab technicians and implement effective laboratory management processes ensuring efficient delivery of services that comply with quality control and compliance standards. What are we looking for? Food science, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent BSc / MSc degree is preferred. Experience of quality assurance or lab management from Food / Nutritional / Pharmaceutical or related manufacturing / testing sites. Experience with testing in analytical or microbiology, and knowledge and experience of GMP, GLP and audit is required. People management experience. Key responsibilities Establish, follow and continuously improve the quality system in the lab. Manage routine activities related to base and finished products testing, incoming raw materials, package materials checks, sensory evaluation, etc. Manage external lab tests and communicate with GAIT and regional labs. Ensure test equipment and test method transfer and validation. Implement SOPs / GLPs to ensure reliability and compliance with standards. Work with the supplier management team to ensure materials quality and follow up on CAPAs. Maintain EHS working conditions and practices within the assigned area. What can you expect from Mars?
