About the Role The City is seeking a passionate and experienced person to jointhe expanding Community Engagement team. Working alongside variousdepartments, this position will advise City staff and management onplanning and implementing community engagement projects, in linewith the City’s IAP2-based Community Engagement Policy andFramework. This involves liaising and building relationships withinternal and external stakeholders. About you We’re looking for a self-motivated team player withexperience in community consultation and strong communicationskills. You’ll be a practiced writer with great computerliteracy and a comprehensive knowledge of public relations. Excellent understanding of best practice communityengagement principles (experience with IAP2 will be highlyregarded). Ability to develop, design and deliver community engagementplans for a variety of projects Experience with online community engagement platforms suchas Social Pinpoint Highly developed communication and relationship buildingskills.
