The company is a key supplier of reinforcing solutions, partnering on major developments that reshape urban areas and improve transport systems. Maintenance Fitter – a key maintenance role at our largest reinforcing processing plant in St Marys. This position focuses on ensuring plant maintenance is carried out safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and predictive maintenance. Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns effectively. Support operations with various projects and improvements. Conduct mechanical inspections and develop action plans. Update computer systems for work orders regularly. Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor on updates. Collaborate with the afternoon shift to minimize downtime. Maintain a safe working environment by identifying risks. Shift Details Day Shift: 6 AM–2:25 PM, Monday to Friday. Overtime available as needed. What We're Looking For You are an experienced Maintenance Fitter who prioritizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork, with a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills. You can work both independently and as part of a team. Essential Qualifications Mechanical trade or Fitter and Turner qualification. Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting expertise. Hydraulics experience is a plus. Background in manufacturing, industrial machines, and cranes. Steel manufacturing experience is desirable. Relevant tickets and licenses (e.g., forklift, EWP) are highly regarded. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
