Youth Focus is looking for a Team Coordinator to join our Early Psychosis team, Located on Whadjuk Noongar Country Full‑time, permanent position | 1 FTE Key leadership position Position commences January 2026 | apply now About the Role The Team Coordinator for our headspace Early Psychosis (hEP) Program is a key leadership position within headspace Midland. This position will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Continuing Care Team (CCT) and support clinical intervention. Key responsibilities include: Provide and oversee the delivery of youth friendly mental health services to headspace Early Psychosis clients. Oversee the CCT intake and clinical review, to ensure the appropriate allocation of young people and their care. In partnership with the Centre Manager, lead and support the Orygen Fidelity Review process, for Midland's hEP service within the hEP cluster. Support outreach initiatives as required to facilitate engagement and treatment with the young person and their supports. Provide consultation, liaison and linkage with internal and external service systems, including working with the headspace Joondalup and Osborne Park hEP managers, to oversee the implementation and delivery of the hEP services. Establish and maintain community partnerships with stakeholders to enhance effective collaboration across services. In partnership with the Centre Manager, lead and support the Orygen Fidelity Review process, for Midland's hEP service. Ensure effective clinical governance processes and participate in clinical governance meetings, both within headspace Midland and across the hEP cluster. About You To be considered for this position, applicants will have: Relevant tertiary qualifications (Social Work, Psychology, OT, Mental Health Nursing) and current full registration/membership with AASW or AHPRA. Sound knowledge and understanding of early psychosis rationale and principles including the developmental stages of young people and the impact that a first episode of psychosis has on development and the impact on the family/significant others. Experience collaboratively planning and coordinating individualised psychological interventions to meet the needs of young people with psychosis‑based disorders on a case formulation and case management approach. Demonstrate leadership in mental health services including clinical supervision, clinical review facilitation and management of a multidisciplinary team. Advance knowledge of biopsychosocial and suicide risk assessment, including the provision of evidence‑based interventions and recovery framework for young people. 'C' Class driver's licence and access to a vehicle. Willingness to travel across Perth Metro, as required.
