Working closely with and supported by the clinical, lifestyle, and hospitality teams, you will work with limited direct supervision and be responsible for delivering resident-centric care in a timely and compassionate manner, which enables residents to make choices and have control over their support needs. About You At Infinite Care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so experience in the aged care sector is not necessary. What is essential, however, is that you have a resident/customer-centric approach and the ability to “think on your feet,” communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also: Demonstrate 1 year in the Australian Aged Care Sector with NDIS workers clearance. Exhibit an excellent work ethic, the ability to work in a team, and follow set safety procedures at all times. Maintain excellent safety awareness to avoid residents tripping, falling, or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears Think on your feet, ensuring residents are the main focus as you make a difference in their lives every day We want to have fun in our homes. Have a passion for making a difference to the elderly by being their personal carer, including building positive relationships with their families. Demonstrate a very positive teamwork attitude; be on time, offer to help, be supportive, and be a fun team colleague that everyone loves to work with Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR have completed 1st year nursing studies. Must have the industry compliance of NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain). This is a busy role where you will be moving all the time with a lot of bending, lifting, pushing, and squatting to perform your duties safely. All our Carer roles will be required to complete an online medical assessment prior to a formal offer to maintain personal and workplace safety standards. Who are we?
