The Role This fixed-term, casual position offers variety and the chance to make a real difference in healthcare environments. You'll work across our network, ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll do Be able to undertake minor/nontrade repairs and alterations to building, equipment, fixtures and fittings Respond to urgent repair requests across hospital facilities Conduct safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used Collaborate with healthcare teams to minimise service disruptions Support the team with tasks as and when required What We're Looking For Trade qualification or equivalent experience in maintenance work Current Working with Children Check Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively Excellent communication skills with diverse teams Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. Details of appointment Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary $63,110 to $66,049 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022 Benefits available to eligible candidates You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
